The $10 per month is the platform: the apps, the cloud, alerts, your full history, and firmware updates while your subscription is active. The hardware is a controller; the subscription is what makes it a connected cart.
A daily-cycle stop or a stop from the app can be restarted from the app whenever you want. A high temperature cutoff stays off until the charger is unplugged and plugged back in at the cart, and the app shows that charger power was cut.
